Summary:
Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, quality standards, and stakeholder satisfaction while leading and developing the construction team.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and milestones, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Lead and mentor the construction team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure construction work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
- Manage the procurement process, ensuring timely availability of materials and resources needed for construction projects.
- Track project performance, generate regular reports, and present updates to senior management.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks given by the Superior/ the Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering / construction management, or its equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in construction management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
- Candidate with Certified Construction Manager (CCM) will be added advantages.
- Certified or knowledge in QLASSIC and GBI is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
