Job description

Sunray Construction & Interior Sdn Bhd is a leading construction and interior fit-out company based in Kuala Lumpur. We are seeking to hire a Construction Manager, Project Coordinator, or Site Supervisor to join our team.

We have openings in Kuala Lumpur, Penang Island, and Johor Bahru.

Primary Jobscope:

1. Manage and supervise daily project activities to ensure timely execution.
2. Monitor progress and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
3. Prepare daily site reports and monthly progress reports.
4. Oversee QA and QC matters, record defects, and maintain proper documentation.
5. Ensure smooth supply of products to the site.
6. Attend project and site meetings with the Project Manager.
7. Coordinate with contractors for accurate delivery scheduling.
8. Coordinate internally to produce samples, mock-ups, and references for clients, architects, and designers.
9. Handle technical difficulties and other on-site problems.
10. Participate in testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
11. Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in interior fit-out and/or construction for the Construction Manager role.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience for the Project Coordinator role.
3. Secondary School/SPM or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
4. Willing to travel within Malaysia or ASEAN countries.
5. Strong project coordination and monitoring skills.
6. Available to start on short notice is advantageous.
