Lam Research in Penang is seeking a Configuration Engineer to ensure OBOMs meet customer specifications with precision in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will collaborate across engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing to deliver accurate configurations for complex orders.

Responsibilities include reviewing change orders, adhering to change processes, and ensuring timely, customer-specific configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s engineering degree or advanced degree with related experience.
• 2+ years of related experience preferred; fresh graduates welcomed.
• Strong English written and verbal communication across global stakeholders.
• Decision making, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to coordinate across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Configure OBOMs from quotes and NSRs with aim of zero defects.
• Review OBOM change orders for engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing impacts.
• Adhere to OBOM Change process and ensure high accuracy of changes.
• Ensure timely implementation of unique customer requirements and engineering changes on OBOMs.
• Engage in cross-functional teams to resolve issues throughout order lifecycles.
