Job summary

OCBC Bank Malaysia is seeking an experienced Compliance professional to help manage regulatory risks and keep controls current. You will collaborate with business units and stakeholders to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

The role requires a law or business degree with 3-5 years in compliance, strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, adaptable approach to integrity.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law, Business, or related field required.
• 3-5 years of experience in compliance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry trends.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to identify and assess compliance risks.

Responsibilities

• Perform control testing and compliance checks per guidelines.
• Conduct surveillance to identify potential frauds, threats or data loss.
• Escalate control gaps and non-compliance issues promptly.
• Assist in risk/ compliance reports, dashboards and incident reporting.
• Support data collection, reviews, audit prep and remediation activities.
• Support Business Continuity Planning and Operational Resilience activities.
• Conduct stand-up or virtual training for staff.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and assist implementation.
• Support projects and day-to-day control execution.
• Provide administrative support and issue escalation as needed.
