A leading compliance firm in Malaysia is looking for a Compliance Executive to join their SEA & India team. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, design compliance monitoring plans, and conduct investigations. A degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Law is required along with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in fraud investigation or internal audit. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Job Highlights :
As a member of the SEA & India Legal & Compliance team, you will work closely with compliance managers and officers, legal members, internal auditors, finance teams and other teams to support investigation activities, compliance monitoring and testing, assurance-related and legal-related activities for our SEA & India region.
Responsibility :
Successful candidate will provide the following support to the Regional Chief Compliance Officer and to team members in the SEA & India region:
1.Assist to ensure that activities comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations and policy requirements, including but not limited to anti-fraud, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, competition law and data privacy.
2.Design and perform compliance monitoring and testing plan and assurance-related or internal audit projects, including scoping the review, conducting the assessment and collaborating with teams to resolve findings related to compliance, controls and legal, and to validate the effectiveness of internal controls.
3.Write and communicate about gaps and risks, and propose solutions as to how processes and controls can be strengthened.
4.Review and conduct investigations of reports and matters as may be assigned and document and report the review/investigation findings and prepare case files with the required supporting documentation.
5.Analyse the root cause of issues and impact to business.
6.Presentation of findings and recommendations on the next course of actionand tracking of remediation status.
7.Escalate, manage and report internal control issues, including keeping track of Anti-Fraud, Bribery and Corruption escalations, breaches and reporting, and advise as necessary.
8.Compliance promotion activities, including training.
9.Analyse legal documents and position as needed.
10.Review and update standard legal documents.
11.Any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
