We are hiring a Compensation & Benefits Supervisor to oversee compensation and benefits operations, including expatriate management such as payroll, taxation, and mobility coordination for our client businesses in Malaysia.

Job Description
  • Responsible for overseeing compensation and benefits operations, including expatriate management such as payroll, taxation, and mobility coordination.
  • Familiar with end-to-end payroll processes including overtime, allowances, deductions, and final pay.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysian regulation, tax law, statutory requirements and processes.
  • Accountable to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and delivery as per Payroll schedule; calendar of activities and overall data integrity of HR master data in the Payroll system.
  • Partner with Internal Super User to perform the monthly reconciliation data audit between the Payroll system.
  • Maintain accurate and updated record management for employee master data.
  • Liaising with local government statutory bodies such as LHDN, EPF, SOCSO.
  • Liaising with external vendors such as insurance providers, medical panels, wellness perks etc.
  • To collate and compile reports for department and management.
  • Able to supervise work of subordinates and guide them, resolve issues, and serve as a link between subordinates and upper management.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as per required by the manager.
Job Requirements
  • 5-8 years of working experience in payroll or accounting background from any industry.
  • Diploma or Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or any other related fields.
  • Proficient in English, Malay and Mandarin. Proficiency in Mandarin is mandatory as the role requires communicating with Chinese stakeholders.
  • Good with data and tools - pivot tables, formulas, spreadsheets.
  • Working days: 5 days (Monday to Friday).
  • Working hours: 9 am to 6 pm.
