Job description

Our client was incorporated in 1960 and is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities. They produce up to 120,000 barrels per day and are the second largest refinery in Malaysia. Operating in Port Dickson, they boast a growing team of 500 employees. In line with business requirements, they are seeking a Compensation and Benefits Manager as part of continuous improvement drives. You will take on the critical and exciting role of driving HR excellence in the company.

What You Will Do
  • Deliver the annual pay benchmarking process for the company, including data submission to external surveys, market analysis, and developing pay outcomes supported by the company.
  • Support HR Manager in driving performance excellence by being a custodian of HR policies, processes, & systems.
  • Articulate the Performance, Reward & Benefits philosophy and objectives, understanding their impact on performance and business results.
  • Lead and drive the design, engagement strategy, implementation, and maintenance of local HR policies, programs, and processes related to pay and benefits.
  • Review local policies regularly, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and drive relevant initiatives and projects.
  • Ensure compliance, governance, and assurance for all local policies and benefit packages in accordance with the country’s regulations.
  • Develop, plan, and execute people programs to enhance employee engagement, performance, productivity, and commitment.
What You Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with significant exposure to Performance, Reward & Benefits policies and processes.
  • Able to meet multiple deadlines and deliver solutions effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills; a team player.
  • Ability to operate effectively with internal customers, colleagues in a virtual environment, and third-party service providers.
  • Confident in discussions with senior stakeholders regarding pay policies and decisions.
What's On Offer:
  • Salary: Up to RM 15,500.00
  • Working hours: 40 hours spread over 5 days a week
