Job summary

KPJ Healthcare in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to provide basic nursing care and support to patients, under supervision. You will assist nurses, help with admissions and transfers, and ensure clean and safe wards.

The role requires good English and Bahasa Malaysia, strong interpersonal skills, and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and on-call duties. You will follow hospital policies and assist in maintaining equipment and stock.

Qualifications

• Certified healthcare assistants would be a priority.
• Experience in hospital settings is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and report incidents to ensure high-quality care.
• Assist in patient preparation, transport, and position for procedures.
• Maintain hygiene and sanitize equipment and wards.
• Record daily charges and manage ward stock.
• Assist nurses and accompany consultant during procedures when needed.
• Participate in safety, 5S, ISO, MSQH, JCI, PSG, NNA compliance.
• Rotate shifts, weekends, holidays as required.
