Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad's KPJ Pahang Specialist Hospital is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide basic care aligned with the hospital’s goals and to support daily ward operations in Malaysia.

You will conduct nursing rounds, communicate with patients and families, assist with admissions, transfers and discharges, and help maintain ward cleanliness, equipment stock, and patient safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• Certified Basic Life Support is required.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is expected.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care aligned with hospital goals.
• Notify nursing leaders of quality-of-care issues.
• Attend shift reports and assist with patient rounds.
• Maintain ward cleanliness and prepare/ tidy beds and equipment.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient transport.
• Attend service meetings and participate in safety and quality activities.
