Job summary

Columbia Asia Hospital - Puchong is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support clinical teams and care for patients in a hospital setting. You will assist with mobility, meals, hygiene, and basic nursing support under supervision, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all patients.

The role requires a minimum of SPM with a Diploma in a relevant field and at least 2 years of hospital/clinic experience; fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is requested.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM, with Diploma in relevant study an advantage
• At least 2 years experience in hospital/clinic work
• Be conversant in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and oral

Responsibilities

• Serve patients with care and compassion, respecting spiritual and cultural beliefs
• Answer call bells and assist accordingly
• Assist walking patients to toilet, bath, and shower; aid with bedpans, wheelchairs, and trolleys
• Transport patients to and from wards/clinics/departments
• Assist patients with meals
• Prepare beds for admission
• Manage linen and consumables accurately
• Maintain tidiness of wards and cleanliness of the assigned area
• Record intake and output and ensure accurate patient billing
