A leading public-listed investment holding company in Malaysia is seeking a Corporate Secretary. This role involves preparing meeting documents, ensuring compliance with corporate laws, and supporting corporate governance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience in the Corporate Secretarial field.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in related field (ICSA/Corporate Admin/LLB) or similar discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in Corporate Secretarial field preferably from property industry.
  • Member of relevant professional bodies or licensed secretary.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support in preparing board and committee meeting documents.
  • Contribute to the preparation of statutory sections of the Annual Report.
  • Assist in drafting regulatory announcements and filings.
  • Monitor compliance with corporate laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate logistics for board and committee meetings.
  • Maintain statutory records for listed entities.

  • Provide support in preparing board and committee meeting documents, including agendas, minutes, and related materials.

  • Contribute to the preparation of statutory sections of the Annual Report, such as governance disclosures and director profiles.

  • Assist in drafting regulatory announcements and filings to Bursa Malaysia, covering financial results and changes in board composition or shareholding.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant corporate laws and listing regulations.

  • Coordinate logistics and documentation for board, committee, and shareholder meetings.

  • Maintain statutory records and support day-to-day corporate secretarial functions for listed entities.

  • Bachelor Degree in related field (ICSA/Corporate Admin/LLB) or similar discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in Corporate Secretarial field preferably from property industry.
  • Member of relevant professional bodies or licensed secretary.
  • Familiar with Companies Act 2016, Listing Requirements, Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance and other relevant Securities Commission Guidelines.
