Company Secretary Department Job Description
- Preparing documents related to statutory records (such as directors' and members' resolutions)
- Maintaining and updating secretarial records
- Ensuring proper and timely lodgment/submission of statutory documents to relevant authorities in compliance with the Companies Act and other relevant laws
- Liaising with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM), lawyers, auditors, and stamping office to ensure all documents meet requirements
- Assisting in enhancing workflows and systems of the secretarial department
- Performing other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Company Secretary Assistant
- Assisting the Company Secretary in preparing related statutory documents
- Maintaining and updating secretarial records
- Liaising with CCM, lawyers, auditors, and stamping office to ensure compliance
- Performing other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
Licensed Company Secretary
- Possess a valid SSM secretary practicing license, LS license, or MIA membership
- More than 2 years of experience in company secretarial practice
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Excellent client relationship and time management skills
- High integrity, strong work ethics, and a sense of responsibility, commitment, and discipline
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak and write Mandarin is an advantage
Company Secretary Assistant
- Possess a full or partial professional qualification such as ICSA, or be a finalist or pursuing ICSA; or hold an advanced/higher/graduate diploma in secretarial studies, degree in business administration (corporate) or equivalent
- Candidates with relevant secretarial experience but without the specified qualifications are encouraged to apply
- Strong team player with meticulous attention to detail and resourcefulness
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Proactive attitude and strong analytical skills
- High integrity, excellent work ethics, and a strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and discipline
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage
