Job Title: Community Operations Executive – U.S. Financial Markets
Department: Operations / Customer Experience / Trading Community Management
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: Night shift / U.S. Market Hours (typically start on 8:00 PM MYT)
Reports To: Community Operations Manager / Head of User Growth

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and finance-savvy Community Operations Executive to support and engage our trading community focused on the U.S. stock market. You will serve as a key bridge between users and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication, timely issue resolution, and a high-quality community experience — all during U.S. market hours.

This role is ideal for individuals who are familiar with U.S. financial markets (stocks, ETFs, options), enjoy engaging with online users, and thrive in a fast-paced, information-rich environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage active trader communities on platforms such as Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, Facebook Groups, and in-app channels during U.S. trading hours.

Respond to user inquiries related to the U.S. market (e.g. stock trading hours, order types, earnings calls), platform usage, and technical issues.

Actively participate in community conversations, answer basic trading-related questions (non-advisory), and share educational content or updates.

Escalate platform bugs, urgent client issues, or regulatory concerns to the appropriate internal teams (Product, Compliance, Support).

Execute community engagement campaigns — including quizzes, contests, market trivia, and trading-themed discussions.

Track real-time market sentiment and provide internal reports on user behavior, FAQs, and trending questions.

Maintain community health by moderating spam, toxic behavior, or off-topic discussions; enforce rules and code of conduct.

Assist in onboarding new users through guides, FAQs, welcome messages, and beginner trading resources.

Work closely with content, support, and compliance teams to ensure accurate and timely messaging during major market events (e.g. FOMC, NFP, earnings season).

Diploma or Degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or Communications. Fresh graduate Diploma holder are encourage to apply.

Candidates without experience are welcome and training will be provided

Must be willing and able to work night shifts aligned with U.S. market hours.

Strong understanding of U.S. financial markets, including stocks, ETFs, trading platforms, and key market events.

1–2 years experience in community operations, online moderation, fintech, or customer support (finance-related is preferred).

Excellent written and verbal communication in English (Mandarin is a plus if handling Chinese-speaking communities).

Familiarity with platforms like Discord, Telegram, TradingView, Robinhood-style apps or broker platforms.

Strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with retail investors and traders.

Detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of handling multiple chats and threads simultaneously.
