Commissioning Engineer (PLC Programming) £40,000-£50,000 + Company Bonus + International Travel + Overtime + Progression + Company Benefits

Location: Basildon

Are you a Commissioning Engineer or similar with a PLC programming background looking for a technically challenging, specialist role within a well-established yet growing manufacturer? This company offers opportunities to see the world and increase earnings through bonuses and overtime. They are a reputable manufacturer of bespoke equipment serving a broad client base, including global leaders in the Cosmetic and Pharmaceutical industries. Having experienced rapid growth recently, they now have a full order book for the next 5 years and are expanding their team to compete with major industry players.

In this diverse role, you will be responsible for PLC programming from basic components to commissioning, installation, and onsite maintenance.

You will work within a close-knit team of four, primarily onsite with some global travel (approximately 20%), with allowances to support staying away from home. This role suits a Commissioning Engineer or similar with a PLC programming background seeking career progression and international travel opportunities.

The Role:

1. Design PLC-based electrical control systems
2. Commission and troubleshoot onsite
3. Collaborate with electricians, panel builders, and other teams
4. Travel internationally as required
