Job summary

SBM Offshore is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to execute efficient commissioning of oil and gas facilities, meeting project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

You will support commissioning activities, coordinate testing and handover, develop procedures, and drive continuous improvement in on-site operations with HSSE compliance.

Responsibilities

• Execution, and documentation of commissioning activities as per project planning, ensuring safety and compliance with standards.

• Identify and resolve commissioning challenges, providing innovative solutions to maintain project schedules.
• Develop and review commissioning procedures, checklists, and schedules in collaboration with engineering and operations teams.
• Conduct pre-commissioning inspections and ensure all systems are tested and certified for safe operation.
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices in commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the execution, and documentation of commissioning activities as per project planning, ensuring safety and compliance with standards.

Education

Experience

• Relevant experiencein the construction industry, combined with strong understanding of construction & commissioning management processes in the relevant disciplin and practical knowledge gained managing and leading teams to ensure smooth operations on site.
