Job summary

A leading oil & gas company seeks a Senior Commissioning Engineer with at least 15 years of experience in the industry. You will own the Risk and Mitigation Plan, develop commissioning matrices, and ensure safety procedures are adhered to during operations. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential. This role is based in Malaysia and offered on a contractor local package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of commissioning experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Proven offshore and onshore commissioning experience.
• Strong knowledge of safety case development and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Risk and Mitigation Plan for Hook-up and Commissioning.
• Develop and maintain RACI and Interface Matrices for Commissioning and SIMOPS.
• Review and approve Pre-commissioning and Commissioning procedures.

Type of Hire: Contractor Local Package
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Renewable)

Risk & Safety Management

• Own and maintain the Risk and Mitigation Plan for Hook-up and Commissioning
• Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, and SIL workshops during the design phase
• ️ Contribute to PHSSER during construction
• Assist in developing PSSR and SIMOPS procedures
• Compile and complete the Safety Case for Wassana CPP and Operations

Planning & Coordination

• Develop and maintain RACI and Interface Matrices for Commissioning and SIMOPS
• Conduct discipline resource planning and coordinate FAT/SAT testing
• Manage vendor mobilization for onshore and offshore commissioning
• Ensure commissioning activities are executed across all sites
• Coordinate and ensure completion of first fills

Review & Oversight

• Review and approve Pre-commissioning and Commissioning procedures
• Align schedules with stakeholders and monitor execution progress

Technical & Operational Support

• ️ Define commissioning spares and support procurement of operational spares
• Implement vendor training programs with Operations sign-off

Documentation & Handover

• Compile and hand over the complete Commissioning Dossier to Operations
