Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. seeks a pastry/kitchen assistant to support daily production of baked goods, pastries and cakes. You will follow the Pastry Chef's guidance to prepare items and help maintain quality across the outlet.

You will work with the kitchen team, manage oven timing and temperatures, and ensure hygiene and cleanliness of your area. Prior experience in mass production kitchens is preferred, with a willingness to work long hours.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level in any field.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably experience in a mass production Central Kitchen
• Willing to work long hours and with a positive mind

Responsibilities

• Listen to instructions of superior regarding bake goods, pastries, and cakes.
• Regulates thermostat control of ovens and times all baked goods.
• Ensure equipment is correctly handled and maintained.
• Keep section clean and orderly at all times.
• Dispatch baked goods, pastries, and cakes according to presentation standards.
• Assist superior in duties and perform related projects as assigned.
• Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Interacts, cooperates with other members of the outlet and kitchen as appropriate.
• Assists chef in ensuring that production level of food required is consistent with needs of outlet.
• Listen to instructions of superior with regard to the preparation of bake goods, pastries and cakes.
• Regulates thermostat control of ovens and times all food stuffs being baked
• To ensuring that all equipment is correctly handled and maintains.
• Participates in ensuring that his section is kept clean and orderly fashion all the time.
• Ensures that all baked goods, pastries and cakes are dispatched to outlet in according with established standards of presentation.
• Assists superior in the performance of his duties.
• Complies in hygiene and sanitation standards, delegating staff or cleaning.
• Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
• Other duties and responsibilities which might be assigned from time to time by your superior.
