Job description

Deliver designated Point of Sale (POS) revenue budget by overseeing and coordinating relevant and insightful pricing and revenue management strategies, policies, routines and actions in order to achieve revenue objectives on designated POS and coordinate delivery of revenue budget through cross-functional coordination of all Commercial

Key Accountability
  • Deliver MAB's passenger revenue budget on designated POS through implementation of successful pricing, inventory and demand strategies, settings, actions and routines and coordination of all revenue-generation activities on designated routes with relevant Commercial and other stakeholders
  • Continuously analyse internal and external data and trends and use that information to liaise with Commercial stakeholders to ensure coordinated and targeted actions towards delivery of revenue objectives.
  • Continuously analyse passenger demand and revenue forecasts on designated O&Ds and devise, implement and coordinate activities across multiple departments and overseas offices to improve results and/or ensure delivery of POS revenue budgets.
  • Perform regular reviews of POS performance and prepare detailed in-depth analyses, reports and action plans to leadership team.
  • Liaise with and provide input to the Strategy team for the development of successful inventory, pricing, demand and groups strategies to deliver revenue budgets at POS level.
Qualifications & Working Experience
  • A degree in a numerical discipline (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Data Science), Science, Information Technology, or a business-related field with at least 5 years of experience in Airline Revenue Management, Pricing, or Commercial.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to interpret large and complex volumes of data to identify trends and solutions and formulate strategies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and strong commercial awareness
  • Proven problem solving, presentation and decision-making skills. Innovative solution finder.
  • Excellent understanding of airline route performance, Revenue Management and Pricing science, methodologies, practices.
  • Formulating effective strategies to deliver optimal revenue and competitive results
  • Effective communication to share complex specialist knowledge, communicate strategies, route requirements and results
  • Managing cross-functionally to achieve route revenue budgets
  • Understanding complex data sources and system routines to ensure accurate demand forecasts
