Job summary

TEAM LEWIS is seeking a commercially minded Paralegal to support the Legal Counsel in APAC and the Head of Legal as needed. The role focuses on client and supplier contracts, using templates, coordinating the process from intake to signature, and tracking contracts accurately.

You will elevate non-standard terms and high-risk matters to Legal Counsel, working with internal stakeholders across teams and liaising with clients and service providers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in law, legal studies, paralegal studies or another relevant discipline.
• At least two (2) years relevant experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role.
• Experience reviewing and administering commercial contracts, especially client and supplier agreements.
• Experience with approved contract templates and internal approval processes.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Contract review and support for client, supplier, and other commercial contracts across APAC; assist UK/EMEA as needed.
• Prepare documents using templates, coordinate reviews, consolidate comments, track versions, and progress approvals.
• Identify non-standard terms and escalate issues to Legal Counsel as appropriate.
• Maintain and improve contracting tools, templates, guidance, checklists and trackers.
• Work with finance and account servicing to ensure billing data (fees, terms, periods, PO) is recorded.
• Maintain contract management system with filing, naming, metadata, status, renewals and notices.
• Support debt recovery and dispute matters with documentation, trackers, deadlines, and correspondence.
• Assist broader legal team with administration and document management as required.
