Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an in-house legal professional to support the APAC region, focusing on ASEAN (excluding Singapore) and Australia. You will handle client and supplier contracts, NDAs, and policy updates, while coordinating with regional stakeholders.

The role requires strong drafting and negotiation skills, fluency in English, and the ability to work independently. Mandarin and Bahasa are optional, with the candidate serving Mandarin-speaking customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with in-house experience preferred.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin and Bahasa as optional.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently negotiating client and supplier contracts, NDAs and other legal documents.
• Maintain and rationalize ASEAN (ex-Singapore) and Australia legal infrastructure, including terms and policies.
• Provide ad-hoc in-house legal support as needed.
• Mitigate the company’s legal risk exposure.

Purpose of the role:

Work within the APAC inhouse legal team to provide in-house legal support to the broader group of companies within, primarily, the ASEAN region (ex-Singapore) and Australia.

Scope:

Closely working together with key stakeholders in, primarily, the ASEAN region (excluding Singapore) and Australia to support the various business lines in respect of all day-to-day legal matters, including but not limited to client contracting, supplier contracting, and HR matters. Support to other regions and business lines may also be required on an ad-hoc basis.

Job Responsibilities:

Independently negotiating client and supplier contracts, non-disclosure agreements and other types of legal documentation, and responding to stakeholders' queries in a timely manner;

Working with the in-house legal team to maintain and rationalize ASEAN (ex-Singapore) and Australia legal infrastructure, such as online terms and conditions and policies;

Providing other ad-hoc in-house legal support from time to time;

Mitigating the legal risk exposure for the company.
