Commercial Finance Manager

You are a finance professional responsible for the financial management of Sales to Gross Margin for Lotus's stores, partnering with the Commercial Director. Your responsibilities include:

1. Leading the commercial finance function for all stores, engaging with key stakeholders such as the Commercial Director, Trading Directors, and Buying Managers.
2. Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Developing KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance.
3. Supporting budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes, including developing annual budgets and rolling forecasts, analyzing variances, and identifying key drivers.
4. Ensuring effective financial reporting and planning processes to evaluate profit and cost efficiencies.
5. Evaluating product and supplier profitability, including mix analyses.
6. Assessing promotions ROI and effectiveness.
7. Collaborating cross-functionally with finance, operations, and other departments, promoting financial literacy.
8. Managing commercial income billing.
9. Supervising Business Analysts supporting store formats based on their business natures.
10. Performing month-end closing related to Sales and Gross Margin.
11. Ensuring adherence to internal controls and governance principles.
12. Participating in ad hoc business cases and projects.

Qualifications include a degree in Accounting/Finance (preferably with professional qualifications like MIA, MICPA, ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA), at least 10 years of finance experience, intermediate to advanced SQL, Power BI, Power Query skills, and strong planning, communication, analytical, and leadership skills. Retail experience is advantageous.
