Commercial Executive (Procurement in Telco)
Nevigate Global Network is an independent Network Services and Solutions provider operating Global IP on an Aggregator One-Stop-Shop (OSS) Virtualized Platform. Positioned as a premier Asian-based virtual network operator, our service coverage spans over 180 countries and continues to expand.
In our pursuit of sustained success in delivering trusted and innovative solutions to our clientele, the selected candidate will report directly to the Commercial Manager.
Your role entails representing Nevigate in engagements with existing and potential suppliers. This includes sourcing, vetting, and procuring services from local and international suppliers, both domestically and globally.
OBJECTIVES
- To drive improvement plans on suppliers’ commitments.
- To improve the commercial terms with existing/new suppliers.
- To handle Contracts Management negotiations with suppliers globally.
- To monitor and measure Key Performance Indicators on suppliers.
- To build and engage a trusted long-term relationship with suppliers to achieve quality performances.
- To support the implementation of AI/ automation
- To harmonize and work closely with internal teams to achieve overall efficiencies by driving our global suppliers’ operation efficiencies to be aligned with Nevigate quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be responsible for Commercial and Pricing Support activities.
- Review Suppliers’ costings proactively based on Sales Team feedback to identify cost reduction opportunities and implement relevant initiatives to achieve savings for the company.
- Responsible for Contracts Management with Suppliers.
- Conduct studies on costings from Suppliers versus Sales Quotations to Customers to ensure price competitiveness and margins are achieved.
- Work closely with the Sales Team to understand Customers’ requirements, change in business operating environment to formulate strategies and value prepositions in the submission of bid winning proposals.
- Real-time update of Suppliers’ pricings/cost schedules into Nevigate ERP system.
- Responsible for monitoring Suppliers’ SLAs and compiling Suppliers’ Escalation Contacts Matrix. Provide monthly updates on commercial activities and key milestone reporting on all commercial engagement activities.
- Manage Supplier risks and provide mitigation plan.
- Coordinate with other internal Teams such as Commercial, Finance and Provisioning to achieve seamless operation.
- To participate in ad-hoc projects as and when required by the Management.

- Updates Intercompany transactions
- Monitor and follow up termination date of the circuits with the providers
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong in conducting research for information and data.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to clearly articulate facts.
- Strong aptitude and excellent customer service.
- Excellent in mathematical calculations.
- Meticulous and good eye for details.
- Excellent skill in MS-Office (especially MS-Excel) is a MUST.
- Diploma or Degree in Business or IT, or related field
- Strong in research, data analysis, Excel and calculations
- Knowledge of the Internet, networking technologies and routing equipment
- Highly organised, meticulous and able to multitask
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients
- Salary expectation: commensurate with relevant work experience
