Job Description:

Budget & Optimization Specialist

An experienced and highly energetic candidate with a proven track record of successfully developing and managing cost optimization programs and channel profitability dashboards, covering both financial and operational aspects. The candidate should identify opportunities and initiatives, develop plans, and ensure action across multi-functional teams in Sales and Regions, monitoring progress to ensure improvements aligned with ongoing strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

Commercial Optimization Program

• Be a catalyst for business optimization thinking, leveraging cross-functional resources to drive performance improvements aligned with company strategies.
• Lead the development of a portfolio of optimization projects to deliver results, demonstrate passion for the business, and motivate stakeholders.
• Establish, monitor, and follow up on the Optimization dashboard, tracking initiative statuses versus targets and closing gaps, supported by monitoring and reporting systems.

Realistic Cost Estimation and Forecast

• Coordinate forecasting, reporting, and management of costs.
• Identify and update on key drivers, potential risks/gaps, and propose mitigation strategies for business owners’ consideration.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports on costs, targets, and progress.

Solid Financial Governance and Reporting

• Enhance reporting capabilities to provide visibility of revenue, costs, and profitability by initiative.
• Deliver an effective business management model from concept to post-implementation review to assess initiative effectiveness.
• Monitor and report financial details by channel, translating data into actionable insights for the business.

Requirements:

• Recognized degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in audit or business planning roles.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Financial Modeling; tech-savviness is a plus.
• Experience in Telco with knowledge of KPI dashboard reporting is preferred.
• Highly agile, proactive, self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret business drivers and translate trends into initiatives or roadmaps.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and regional teams to obtain buy-in.
