Position: Order to Cash - Collection Senior Analyst

This role is responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable function, ensuring compliance with company policies and audit standards. The Senior Analyst will manage incoming payment policies, procedures, and process flows, and review them regularly.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Collection Senior Analyst – AMERICA to oversee daily operations related to customer payments, drive team performance, and ensure effective cash application, reporting, and recovery of outstanding receivables. This role acts as a key liaison between the team and senior management, implementing strategies to improve processes and meet departmental objectives. The position supports the AMERICA time zone (Night Shift) and requires on-site presence in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Leadership: Provide training and guidance to junior team members, assist with onboarding, and resolve cash application issues with best practices, compliance, and customer service focus.
• Management: Oversee daily collection activities, manage accounts, ensure payments are processed as per SLA, and collaborate with stakeholders for issue resolution.
• Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute collection strategies, monitor KPIs, and adjust as needed.
• Reporting: Support reporting requirements, ensuring timely submissions.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, lead workflow enhancements, and implement new tools or technologies.
• Collaboration: Work with internal and external stakeholders to clear unapplied cash open items.

Essential requirements include:

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting.
• At least 4 years of experience in O2C Cash Application, preferably in a Shared Service environment.
• Strong knowledge of O2C processes and end-to-end month-end closing.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• ERP system experience, especially SAP.
• Ability to work night shift hours: 9 pm to 6 am MYT.

Preferred experience:

• Previous work in a Shared Service environment.
• ERP system proficiency, especially SAP.
