Coldroom Warehouse Executive (Supervisor)

Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM), Saturday (8:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse facility. Your responsibilities include managing inventory, supervising staff, and maintaining safety standards. The role requires strong organizational skills, leadership, and a good understanding of warehouse processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily briefings to plan and monitor warehouse activities, including inbound/outbound logistics and inventory management.
- Communicate regularly with management about team performance, project updates, and issues.
- Assign tasks to team members and ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Develop and improve standard operating procedures for efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels through physical counts and system reconciliation.
- Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to ensure accuracy.
- Plan warehouse layouts for optimal space utilization and future capacity planning.
- Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations.
- Implement security measures to prevent loss or theft.
- Perform cycle counts as per company guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Maintain punctuality and professionalism.
- Resolve conflicts within the team effectively.
- Lead by example, motivate, and inspire team members.
- Stay updated with new systems and technologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma in Logistics, Warehouse Management, or related field; practical experience considered if qualifications are lacking.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team-leading experience.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Good communication skills in English and Malay.
- Experience with SAP or Warehouse Management System (WMS) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and data management systems.
- Familiarity with forklift operation.
- Valid driving license and personal transport.
- Experience in QC or food handling within logistics or supply chain sectors.
- Understanding of Food Safety, GMP, and FSMS standards.
