Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines (3-axis to 5-axis) and related equipment in a manufacturing environment in Penang. You will troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues, assist in installation and commissioning, and keep detailed service records.

The role requires a Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering or 1–2 years of related experience, with basic

Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering or equivalent; or 1 to 2 years of related work experiences.
Basic knowledge of CNC machines, motors and mechanical components.
Able to read simple mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals.
Familiarity with safety procedures and maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines (3-axis, 4-axis, 5-axis) and auxiliary equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues.
Assist in machine installation, relocation, alignment, and commissioning activities.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, checklists, and breakdown reports.
Support oil leakage issues and safety procedures (LOTO) compliance.
Work with production team on maintenance and repair activities.
Support 5S and housekeeping; perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
