Job summary

A manufacturing firm in Penang is seeking a CNC Milling Machine Operator to operate and maintain machines in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate should have experience with CNC operations, be able to read engineering drawings, and ensure quality through precise measurements. Applicants should possess a Secondary/PMR/SPM certificate or have at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Milling Machine (3 axis, 4 axis, 5 axis).

Job description

Responsibilities

• Ability to Operate CNC Milling Machine (3 axis, 4 axis, 5 axis)
• Knowledge on machine set up, test cut and G & M Code
• Knowledge on Basic CAM Software
• Knowledge on how to troubleshoot & solve problems if needed
• Inspect and measure parts to maintain our specification
• Perform side operation as required (e.g., deburring) while CNC is running
• Maintain a 5S clean work area and machine

Requirements

• Minimum Secondary / SPM holder or minimum 3‑year experience in manufacturing sector
• Able to read engineering drawings and instructions
• Able to properly use measurement metrologies to verify mechanical dimensions
• Work under rotating shifts
• Complete and deliver tasks given under a tight schedule
