Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate CNC machines (3- and 5-axis) according to work instructions. You will load and unload materials and tools, perform basic setups, and monitor processes to ensure quality.

The role requires a minimum qualification of SPM/High School, attention to detail, teamwork, and discipline following SOPs. Basic knowledge of engineering drawings is a plus, and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or high school certificate or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of engineering drawings is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and follow SOPs with attention to detail.
• Good teamwork, communication and discipline in following SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines (3 axis and 5 axis) according to work instructions and specifications.
• Load/unload materials, parts, and tools into machines.
• Perform basic machine setup with guidance.
• Monitor machining processes to ensure product quality.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools and report issues to CNC Machinist or Supervisors.
• Maintain production records, and count parts.
• Maintain a clean work area (5S practices).
