Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance Officer - CMM Specialist to bridge Metrology, Production and Engineering. The role focuses on high-precision CMM programming, daily shop-floor quality support, and active participation in New Product Development.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of CMM operation experience, proficiency in ZEISS CALYPSO or equivalent, and strong GD&T interpretation within ISO 9001/IATF 16949 environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on CMM operation and programming experience in a manufacturing/metrology setting.
• Ability to program CMMs independently from Day 1 and translate GD&T from drawings.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 environments is advantageous.
• Excellent communication to collaborate with Production, QA/QC and Engineering teams.
• Familiarity with Plastic Injection Molding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• CMM programming, testing and optimization from CAD/ drawings to verify dimensions.
• Provide daily quality support for in-process and outgoing inspections.
• Assist NPD during trials and evaluations of new molds/parts.
• Maintain, calibrate and check CMM equipment and precision tools.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
