Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on CMM Specialist to join our QA/QC team at our Port Klang facility in Selangor. The role focuses on writing and optimizing CMM programs from CAD/ drawings to ensure components meet GD&T specs and automotive standards.

You will collaborate with Production and Engineering during NPD trials and mold launches, maintaining calibration of CMMs and related tools, and driving rapid quality improvements across prototypes to mass production.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of independent CMM programming in QA/QC for plastic injection molding.
• Strong foundation in metrology and GD&T applying to automotive standards.
• Able to work with Production and Engineering to resolve shop-floor quality issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and optimize offline/online CMM programs from CAD/ drawings to verify dimensions.
• Collaborate with Production and QA/QC teams on in-process and outgoing inspections.
• Work with Engineering during trial runs for new molds and parts.
• Maintain calibration schedules and care for CMMs and precision tools in the QA lab.
• Lead root-cause analysis using 5-Why and Fishbone and implement corrective actions.
