We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Cluster Director of Revenue Management to lead the revenue strategy for three of Hyatt’s iconic properties (Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu, Hyatt Centric Kuala Lumpur & Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown - Opening Soon) in Malaysia. This role is pivotal in driving total revenue performance across Rooms, Food & Beverage outlets, and Function Room (Space) Management. The ideal candidate will bring a holistic commercial mindset, strong analytical acumen, and a collaborative leadership style to optimize profitability across all revenue streams. This job incumbent will report to Area Vice President or General Managers, dotted to Regional Director of Revenue Management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Revenue Leadership:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive pricing, distribution, and revenue strategies across Rooms, F&B, and Function Spaces.
  • Lead the total revenue management approach, integrating all revenue-generating departments to maximize overall profitability.
  • Ensure alignment with Hyatt’s corporate strategies, brand standards, and commercial goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of revenue professionals across the three properties, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team by providing clear direction, regular feedback, and tailored development plans.
  • Champion a learning culture by identifying training needs and facilitating knowledge sharing across the cluster.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to General Managers and department heads, influencing commercial decisions through data-driven insights.
  • Promote cross-property collaboration and best practice sharing to elevate revenue performance across the cluster.
  • Forecasting & Analysis:
  • Produce accurate and insightful revenue forecasts for Rooms, F&B, and Event Spaces.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and demand patterns to inform strategic decisions.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Events, and Operations teams to align revenue strategies with business objectives.
  • Support the development of promotional and pricing strategies for F&B outlets and event spaces.
  • Guide the sales team in optimizing space utilization and yield management for function rooms.
  • Oversee the management of revenue systems (e.g., RMS, CRS, Channel Managers) ensuring accurate rate and inventory distribution.
  • Ensure optimal use of technology and tools to support revenue decisions and reporting.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in Revenue Management, preferably in a multi-property or cluster role.
  • Proven track record in managing Rooms, F&B revenue, and Function Room/Space Management.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with revenue management systems such as IDeaS G3 RMS is a plus.
  • Pre opening experience as a revenue management leader is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field; MBA or Revenue Management certification is an advantage.
