Job Summary:

The IT Infrastructure Support Executive is responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, maintenance, and support of IT infrastructure, focusing on backup systems, storage, and server performance. This role ensures the stability, reliability, and availability of the IT environment by performing scheduled health checks and responding to technical incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Tasks:

• Perform daily health checks on:
• Firewall systems
• Backup storage systems
• Compute resources (servers/virtual machines)
• Production storage
• Offsite storage
• Daily backup status
• Offsite backup status

Weekly Tasks:

• Review and verify Windows Updates across relevant systems every Friday.

Monthly Tasks:

• Generate and submit reports for:
• Server performance
• Backup operations
• Resource utilization
• Offsite backup summary

Additional Responsibilities:

• Provide standby support during electrical shutdowns or scheduled IT maintenance.
• Offer technical support for day-to-day operations.
• Restore virtual machines (VMs) when required.
• Troubleshoot backup issues and ensure successful backup operations.
• Execute manual backups upon request.
• Prepare and document incident reports for any infrastructure-related issues or failures.

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure management.
• Strong understanding of backup systems, virtualization (VMs), and storage management.
• Familiarity with firewall operations and Windows update processes.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work on standby or outside office hours during maintenance periods.
