Primary Functions

Cloud Security Deputy Manager responsible for maintaining Data Privacy, Protection and Security standards and controls. Identifying regulatory challenges while ensuring controls are implemented in timely and stipulated time towards adhering to the regulatory compliance requirements. He/She shall conduct and effective internal governance, assurance, risk and compliance of cloud security, this includes regulatory compliance leading/inputting into any debate on conduct risk, ensuring controls on information security is effective,

Duties and Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable with the definition and articulation of security principles, policies, guidelines and standards to be adopted i.e. RMiT, PCI DSS, ISMS 27001, NIST, CSA
• Proactively implement and support cloud security operation, readiness and discovery assessments; be familiar with cloud security frameworks, compliance requirements and security operations primarily on AWS Cloud. Other cloud technologies are welcome.
• Knowledgeable in how to implement security access authentication and authorization, key management, network security and other security domains controls and other non-functional areas of importance in ensuring well and protected security posture implementation.
• Work closely with Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, and other department Personnel to understand the system’s functional and non-functional requirements.
• Good Project Management i.e. Agile methodology in supporting project delivery or internal enhancements or improvement initiatives.
• Timely execution on all related security services requests, ad-hoc activities and incident management and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
• Good understanding of regulatory framework and requirements.
• Ensuring security is a core part of the design and development and always carry the security mindset in all activities executed within cloud
• Other responsibilities and tasks to be assigned where applicable and required in supporting business needs and regulatory adherence
