Description

Job Purpose: As a Cloud Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects across business units, managing resources, schedules, and financials throughout the project lifecycle. You will handle issues, risks, and change requests to ensure successful, on-time delivery.

You will oversee daily project activities, coordinate with teams, ensure deliverables meet constraints of time and cost, and achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, risks, blockers, success criteria, and resource estimates.
2. Ensure projects stay within scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
3. Manage and distribute project documents like charters, schedules, and budgets.
4. Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
5. Maintain communication with management, customers, and teams, actively seeking feedback.
6. Assist in business development, including proposals and estimates.
7. Monitor budgets and staffing requirements.
8. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
9. Plan, monitor, and report on project activities, including subcontractor management.
10. Develop project controls and manage operational changes.
11. Lead status review meetings with teams, vendors, and clients.
12. Understand dependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
13. Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on industry practices.
14. Resolve technical and operational issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, business, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role.
• At least 2 years’ experience with Cloud Financial Management (FinOps).
• Strong understanding of project management processes and methodologies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proven leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Experience working collaboratively in high-level environments.
• Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively address obstacles.
• Experience delivering customer-facing and internal products/services.
• Familiarity with Agile, PMI, or PMP frameworks.
• Proficiency with standard office software.

Technical Skills

• PMI or PMP certification or similar.
• SCRUM certification.
• Fundamentals in Azure or AWS.
• Minimum 1 year hands-on Cloud technical experience.
• Familiarity with Power BI reporting tool.
