We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Cloud Product Development Engineer to join our cloud platform team. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, implementation, and support of software applications that form the foundation of our smart manufacturing cloud solutions. This role requires close collaboration with cross-regional product and R&D teams to ensure seamless delivery and optimization of cloud-based features and services.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Participate in the development and maintenance of cloud-based applications and services

· Assist in interpreting product requirements and translating them into technical specifications

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and software engineers

· Support the integration and testing of API interfaces and backend systems

· Assist with user documentation, product validation, and technical troubleshooting

· Provide input for product localization and optimization based on local market requirements

· Ensure compliance with internal development standards and processes

· Based in Malaysia, with an availability and willingness to travel domestic or overseas up to 40% of the time is a requirement.

Qualifications

· Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

· 0–3 years of experience in software development

· Understanding of RESTful APIs, database systems, and version control tools (Github)

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

· Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment

· Good command of English (both written and spoken); proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

Experience or academic exposure to CNC machine tools, industrial automation, or manufacturing IT

Knowledge of frontend development frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js)
