Job summary

Bitlab Digital seeks a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to own multi-tenant client cloud environments, primarily on Azure, with 20% on AWS, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud. You will architect, provision from scratch, migrate, and oversee day-to-day security, maintenance, and troubleshooting to keep client systems running.

Responsibilities include end-to-end provisioning, environment maintenance, multi-tenant governance, monitoring, and cost optimisation.

Qualifications

• Deep Azure expertise with 3+ years provisioning and managing core Azure services.
• Practical experience navigating AWS Console and Alibaba Cloud Console for admin tasks.
• Strong networking and systems knowledge (DNS, subnets, firewalls, Linux/Windows servers).
• Ability to translate client needs into stable cloud architecture and explain issues clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end provisioning of new client environments on Azure and other hyperscalers.
• Daily operations: user access, scaling, backups, patch management.
• Enforce multi-tenant isolation using subscriptions, management groups, and RBAC.
• Monitor health with alerts and dashboards; act as primary contact for infra issues.
• Cost optimisation by auditing environments with Azure Advisor.

About the Role

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to take full ownership of our multi-tenant client cloud environments. Approximately 80% of our portfolio is hosted on Microsoft Azure, with the remaining 20% split among other cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud.

In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our clients' infrastructure. You will architect and provision new environments from scratch, migrate existing environments, and manage day-to-day maintenance, security, and troubleshooting to keep our clients' systems running.

Your responsibilities

• End-to-End Provisioning: Build and configure new client environments from scratch, including virtual networks, compute instances, storage, and databases across Azure (primarily) and other hyperscalers.
• Environment Maintenance: Perform daily operational tasks including user access management, resource scaling, backup configurations, and patch management.
• Multi-Tenant Governance: Structure and maintain strict client isolation using Azure Subscriptions, Management Groups, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Set up alerts and dashboards to proactively monitor system health. Serve as the primary technical contact for investigating and resolving client infrastructure issues and downtime.
• Cost Optimisation: Manually audit client environments using tools like Azure Advisor to identify wasted spend, idle resources, and right-sizing opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Deep Azure Expertise: 3+ years of hands‑on experience provisioning and managing Azure core services (VNets, App Services, ExpressRoute/VPNs, Azure SQL, Entra ID).
• Multi-Cloud Adaptability: Practical experience navigating the AWS Management Console and Alibaba Cloud Console to perform administrative and provisioning tasks.
• Core Networking & Systems: Strong foundational knowledge of networking (DNS, subnets, firewalls, load balancers) and administration of Windows/Linux servers.
• Client-Facing Communication: Ability to translate client business requirements into stable cloud architecture and explain technical issues clearly to stakeholders.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Solutions Architect
