Job summary

Amazon Web Services Malaysia SDN. BHD. invites skilled Data Center Linux & Hardware Engineers to join a fast-growing cloud infrastructure team.

The role is based in Malaysia and focuses on operating and improving large-scale data centers, with on-call duties and cross-functional collaboration. You will troubleshoot Linux servers, diagnose hardware issues, coordinate with network, systems, and vendors, participate in projects, and help maintain high uptime.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Linux/Unix administration.
• Experience diagnosing hardware issues in data center environments.
• Familiarity with server boot sequences and diagnostic boot methods.
• Knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, L2/L3) and related hardware.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high system reliability by promptly resolving tickets and issues.
• Troubleshoot Linux servers and hardware across data center racks.
• Coordinate with network, systems, and vendors to remediate issues.
• Support on-call rotations and participate in data center projects.
