Job Description
Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
Develop and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Perform Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to prioritize recovery strategies.
Organize regular BCP testing and drills, adjusting plans as needed.
Provide training and promote awareness of continuity processes across teams.
Disaster Recovery (DR)
Design and implement DR plans for finance application recovery.
Build and maintain DR environments for critical applications.
Ensure regular backups and verify data integrity.
Lead DR tests and real incident response efforts.
Collaborate with IT teams to align DR and infrastructure strategies.
Archival
Develop and enforce data archival strategies and systems.
Ensure secure, efficient, and compliant data archival processes.
Protect archived data from unauthorized access and corruption.
Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
Data Retention
Define and implement data retention policies and schedules.
Monitor compliance and manage secure data disposal.
Conduct audits and prepare reports for management and regulators.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years experience in BCP, DR, archival, and data retention (finance/insurance sector preferred).
Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and disaster recovery technologies.
Familiar with tools like Azure Site Recovery (ASR), Terraform, and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
Knowledge of industry regulations related to data management and continuity.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Strong project management and team collaboration experience.
Certifications such as CBCP, CISSP, PMP are advantageous.
