Job summary

NSS IT Solution Sdn Bhd in Sepang, Selangor seeks a rare, multi-discipline Architect who commands infrastructure, solution, and security across deployment models. Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a corporate enterprise architect across infrastructure, applications, and security.
• Proven ability to define standards, reference architectures, and governance across a large organisation.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native, on-premise, and hybrid deployment patterns.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (zero-trust, STRIDE/MITRE ATT&CK) and compliance standards.
• Experience leading architecture reviews and strategic vendors assessments.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise architecture strategy, vision, and multi-year roadmap.
• Produce and maintain reference architectures for all three environments.
• Author ADRs, RFCs, and C4/TOGAF blueprints.
• Lead architecture review boards and govern technology decisions enterprise-wide.

We are looking for a rare, multi-discipline Architect who commands all three architecture domains — infrastructure, solution, and security across every deployment model our organisation.

operates: cloud-native microservices, legacy monolithic applications, and on-premise data centres. You will be the single authoritative voice on technology architecture across the enterprise, responsible for producing the blueprints, standards, and governance that keep our systems coherent, resilient, secure, and evolvable for the next decade.

Core responsibilities

• Own the enterprise architecture strategy, vision, and multi-year roadmap
• Produce and maintain reference architectures for all three environments
• Author ADRs, RFCs, and C4/TOGAF solution blueprints
• Lead architecture review boards and govern technology decisions company-wide
• Drive modernisation — monolith decomposition, cloud migration, and DC consolidation
• Define API, event, and data contract standards across all platforms

Security & compliance

• Design and enforce zero-trust security posture across all three environments
• Lead threat modelling (STRIDE / MITRE ATT&CK) for every major system
• Embed DevSecOps into microservice and monolith CI/CD pipelines
• Govern IAM, PKI, secrets, and certificate lifecycle enterprise-wide
• Drive compliance: ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, PDPA & BNM RMiT
• Lead security incident response and post-incident architecture reviews

Infrastructure & operations

• Own infrastructure standards for cloud, virtualised, and bare-metal environments
• Lead FinOps reviews, capacity planning, and hardware procurement strategy
• Define SLOs, error budgets, and SRE practices across all platforms
• Design hybrid cloud connectivity and multi-site DR/BCP architecture
• Enforce IaC, GitOps, and configuration management standards

Leadership & stakeholders

• Present architecture strategy and trade-offs to CTO, CEO, and board
• Mentor and coach infrastructure, solution, and security engineers
• Partner with product, engineering, and operations leadership on roadmap
• Evaluate and recommend vendors, platforms, and build-vs-buy decisions
• Lead RFPs and technical due diligence for strategic technology acquisitions
