Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years' hands-on experience in cloud app development with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in C#, Angular, Python, Java, and JavaScript with scripting for cloud apps.

The Role and Impact As a Cloud Application Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying applications tailored for industry or hybrid cloud environments. You will leverage your expertise in cloud platforms and frameworks to create scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that meet the needs of modern applications. This role directly impacts Intel's ability to deliver innovative cloud-based experiences and solutions, ensuring seamless functionality across diverse platforms. Business group The Cloud Engineering group focuses on advancing Intel's capabilities in cloud application development and architecture. The team drives innovation by creating solutions that integrate seamlessly with industry-leading cloud platforms, enhancing agility, scalability, and security across Intel's technology ecosystem. This group plays a key role in enabling Intel's broader goals of delivering cutting-edge software and cloud-based solutions that empower customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement applications optimized for cloud environments using frameworks and tools from leading cloud providers (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Design and integrate DevSecOps solutions to enhance automation, security, and operational efficiency.
• Build and manage microservices architectures, utilizing Kubernetes and software containerization techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud-native applications and services.
• Utilize programming languages and scripting to create responsive user interfaces for various platforms, including mobile and PC.
• Execute cloud-based systems using Agile methodologies, driving disciplined delivery and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with information security protocols, enhancing the robustness and resilience of cloud applications.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud application development and architecture using major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., C#, Angular, Python, Java, JavaScript) and scripting for cloud-based applications.
• Demonstrated expertise in Kubernetes, microservices, and software containerization techniques.
• having experience with DevSecOps processes, automation tools, and frameworks is a plus.
• Strong foundation in cloud-native application design principles, database engineering, and network/data management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant technical field with 2+ years of experience.
• Proven ability to apply Agile methodologies in developing and managing cloud-based solutions, involve in software development process from requirement, analysis and design, implementation, testing and deployment.
• Experience in frontend, mid-tier, backend development using Azure frameworks.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles for mobile, PC and server platforms.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
