Job summary

DXN International is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to analyze samples using specialized lab equipment and to ensure precise test results. The role covers quality control, data entry into the LIS, and adherence to safety protocols.

The successful candidate will handle specimen collection when needed, maintain instrument calibration, and support physicians with accurate reporting of findings while following infection-control guidelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biomedical Science, or related life science field.
• Experience or certification in clinical laboratory practice is preferred.
• Professional licensure such as ASCP or AMT is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blood, urine, tissue and other bodily fluids using specialized laboratory equipment.
• Perform quality control: calibrate instruments, run QC checks and troubleshoot equipment.
• Record and report test findings accurately into the laboratory information system.
• Follow strict infection control and safety guidelines when handling biological and hazardous materials.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen preparation as required.
