About the role

Sunway Medical Centre Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Clinical Instructor to join our team in Bandar Sunway, Selangor. As a full-time Clinical Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical instruction and supervision to nursing students in the Operative and Medical and Surgical departments.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing comprehensive clinical training programs for nursing students
2. Providing on-site clinical instruction and supervision to ensure students gain practical, hands-on experience
3. Assessing student performance and providing constructive feedback to support their development
4. Collaborating with the nursing faculty to align clinical curriculum with theoretical learning
5. Maintaining accurate documentation and records of student progress and attendance
6. Participating in regular meetings with the nursing faculty to discuss student performance and program improvements
7. Adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times

What we're looking for

• Registered nurse with a minimum of 10 years' experience in OT and Medical and Surgical nursing
• MUST have post basic qualification in the specific clinical area (e.g., Post Basic in Peri-operative, Post Basic in Orthopaedics)
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field
• Previous experience in clinical instruction or nursing education, preferably in a hospital or academic setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, faculty, and hospital staff
• Excellent organisational and time management skills to coordinate clinical schedules and activities
• Proficient in using technology and digital tools to support clinical instruction and record-keeping
• Passion for nursing education and a commitment to fostering the growth and development of future nurses
