Clinical Application Specialist (Based in Penang or Alor Setar)

About the job

We are representing our client, a high-end medical devices supplier specializing in advanced spinal implants and procedures. As they expand, they are seeking a Clinical Application Specialist based in Penang or Alor Setar to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assist Product Specialist and Product Executive with daily tasks.
  2. Scrub in and assist clients in the Operating Theatre with good product knowledge.
  3. Develop and maintain good rapport and positive relationships with clients.
  4. Build and maintain positive relationships with medical and administrative staff.
  5. Prepare daily action plans and report them before 9:00 pm via WhatsApp.
  6. Collaborate with hospital Purchasing and Procurement Departments.
  7. Follow up on payments from hospitals after cases.
  8. Participate in marketing events.
  9. Address and resolve client concerns.
  10. Travel frequently between hospitals to assist cases.
  11. Stay updated with the latest clinical data and present findings to healthcare professionals.
  12. Monitor competitor activity and products.
  13. Be on call and mobile as needed.
  14. Assist with ad-hoc tasks as required by the team and management.
  15. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  1. Diploma or Degree in Medical Science or related field.
  2. Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in the medical field.
  3. Willingness to travel.
  4. Own transportation and ability to carry instruments weighing up to 10kg.
