Job summary

A healthcare provider in Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Assistant to handle patient billings and maintain financial records. The successful candidate should have basic knowledge of account processes, be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with half days on Saturdays.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of accounts & billing processes required.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Experience in data entry and invoicing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process patient billings including various payment methods.
  • Ensure payment records are accurate and up to date daily.
  • Conduct bank reconciliation and prepare payments to suppliers.

Responsibilities
  • Process patient billings (cash, credit card, e-wallet, online transfers)
  • Ensure payment records are accurate and updated daily
  • Data entry & maintaining ledgers by recording all transactions
  • Bank reconciliation (matching transactions against bank statements)
  • Supplier payments & admin payments (prepare and process payments to suppliers, keep proper records of invoices, receipts and petty cash claims)
  • Preparing records for accountants/auditors (organize financial files and supporting documents for monthly/annual audits)
  • General admin support (assist with license renewals, permits, clinic documentation and support clinic staff in basic administrative tasks when required)
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of accounts & billing processes
  • Organized, detail oriented & able to work independently
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willing to work Monday to Friday 9 am- 6 pm, Saturday half day 9 am-1 pm
