Job summary

Klinik Dr Jasmine in Johor is seeking a female Clinic Assistant to join our team. The role involves assisting doctors and nurses, registering patients, handling enquiries, and maintaining smooth clinic operations.

Training will be provided for suitable candidates. You should be friendly, responsible, able to work in a team, and able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Weekend or public holiday shifts may be required; competitive salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent is required.
• Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
• Friendly, responsible, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin/Cantonese is an advantage.
• Able to work shifts, weekends or public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors and nurses in the daily operation of the clinic.
• Register patients, manage appointments and handle patient enquiries.
• Perform basic clinical procedures such as taking vital signs, height/weight and assisting with examinations.
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures and treatments.
• Dispense medications and explain basic medication instructions as directed by the doctor.
• Handle billing, payment collection and other basic administrative duties.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and proper arrangement of the consultation rooms and clinic.
• Monitor and replenish clinic supplies and medications.
• Assist with stock checking and inventory management.
• Provide courteous and professional service to patients.
• Perform other duties related to the smooth operation of the clinic as assigned.
