Job Description

We are seeking a responsible, friendly, and proactive Clinic Assistant to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will help ensure smooth daily operations, provide excellent patient service, and support our clinical staff in delivering quality healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and register patients; manage waiting list and appointment schedules
  • Answer phone calls, handle enquiries, and provide basic information to patients
  • Assist doctors with simple clinical procedures and patient preparation
  • Handle payments, issue receipts, manage panel claiming processes (e.g., e-claim submissions, GL verification), and maintain accurate records
  • Dispense medications as instructed by the doctor
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of consultation and treatment areas
  • Manage stock inventory for medical supplies and medications
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and adherence to clinic SOPs
  • Any other administrative and operational tasks assigned by the doctor/clinic manager
Requirements
  • Minimum SPM qualification (higher qualifications are an advantage)
  • Able to speak Bahasa Malaysia and English (Mandarin is a bonus)
  • Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, WhatsApp, clinic system software)
  • Responsible, honest, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Able to work on weekends/public holidays (rotational basis, if applicable)
  • Previous experience in clinics, pharmacies, or healthcare settings is an advantage, but fresh graduates are welcome
