We are seeking an experienced Climbing Gym Manager to oversee the operations of our state-of-the-art climbing facility in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As the Climbing Gym Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the gym, managing a team of instructors and front-of-house staff, and driving the growth and development of our climbing community.

This is a full-time position within our dynamic and progressive organisation, Camp Five Sdn Bhd.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the climbing gym, including scheduling staff, overseeing safety and maintenance procedures, and handling customer inquiries and concerns.
2. Develop and implement strategies to attract new members, retain existing members, and promote the gym's services and events.
3. Manage and train a team of climbing instructors, ensuring they provide high-quality instruction and customer service.
4. Oversee the gym's financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation.
5. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective promotional campaigns.
6. Ensure the gym's compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
7. Foster a positive and inclusive climbing community by organising social events and competitions.

What we're looking for

1. Strong knowledge of climbing techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
2. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with members and stakeholders.
3. Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of instructors and staff.
4. Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation.
5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and adapt to changing circumstances.
6. A passion for the sport of climbing and a commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive climbing community.
