Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia is seeking a Contract Client Operations Officer for FX Operations in IOI City, Putrajaya. You will handle daily FX processing, verification, and settlement while coordinating with Front Office, Middle Office and sub-custodians to ensure smooth operations.

The role emphasizes timely resolution of FX breaks, monitoring FX confirmations, and contributing to projects to strengthen processes and controls. A strong understanding of FX markets and tools is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in FX Processing environment.
• Knowledge of FX products, markets and industry practices (SWIFT).
• Willing to work on local MY holidays and follow Europe holidays.
• Proficient in MS Office and bookkeeping literate.
• Flexibility in working hours/ shifts in Europe time zone.
• Nice-to-have Milvus system experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform processing of FX on a daily basis: input, verify, validate and settle FX.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office and external stakeholders to ensure robust operations.
• Investigate FX breaks and provide timely resolutions.
• Monitor team mailboxes and FX confirmations; follow up promptly.
• Contribute ideas to FX projects to improve processes and controls.

What will you do?

• Perform processing of FX (Pre- and Post-Execution on a daily basis: input, verify, validate and settle FX executed by dealing room and sub-custodians.
• Work collaboratively with both internal Front Office (Trading Desk), Middle Office and other CACEIS business units and external stakeholders' sub-custodians/ agents to ensure the operating model is robust and the risk is mitigated.
• Perform investigation of FX breaks and provide resolution within agreed timeline.
• Continuous monitoring of FX Operations team mailboxes and FX confirmations to take swift action on instructions/ queries received and do the required follow ups without delay.
• Contribute to FX projects and initiatives through ideas/ suggestions, to help improve process and control.
