GMO Z com Research Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Client Development Specialist in Kuala Lumpur. This role focuses on enhancing client relationships, achieving sales targets, and managing projects from beginning to end. Job Brief
As a Client Development Specialist, you will be responsible for deepening relationships with existing clients and reactivating dormant accounts, with a focus on increasing our market share and grow sales revenue. This role requires a proactive, client-focused individual with a strong understanding of B2B sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage projects from start to finish.
This role includes responsibilities for achieving sales targets and meeting sales performance metrics.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, aiming to increase their share of business with us.
Reactivate dormant clients by identifying their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Handle client inquiries, provide quotes, and check feasibility for research projects.
Achieve sales targets and client develoment performance metrics.
Collaborate with clients on cost adjustments and progress updates as needed.
Work with internal project management team to ensure seamless delivery of projects to clients.
Manage the full project lifecycle, from quoting to final delivery.
Attend client meetings and negotiations, both locally and internationally.
Prepare detailed sales presentations and proposals using Excel and PowerPoint.
Requirements and Skills:
Minimum 5 years of professional work experience.
At least 3 years of B2B new business development experience.
Experience with intangible products such as internet services, SaaS, consultancy, or market research.
Ability to manage meetings and close deals independently.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with a high level of competency in proposal creation.
Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with Japanese companies.
Overseas study experience in an English-speaking country.
Fluency in multiple Asian languages is a plus, with a particular emphasis on Korean and Chinese/Mandarin.

Business Hour: 9:00-18:00
