A leading company in property development seeks a Clerk of Work/Site Supervisor to assist in project coordination and management. The role involves overseeing construction compliance, effective communication with stakeholders, and meticulous documentation. Ideal candidates will possess relevant technical qualifications and experience, bringing strong organizational and problem-solving skills to the team.
You are required to assist Senior Project Manager in project coordination and management. The incumbent plays a vital role in overseeing property development projects, ensuring compliance with approved architectural, structural, and M&E drawings and specifications.
What do we need you to do?
Project Monitoring:
Supervise and inspect construction works to ensure compliance with approved architectural, structural, and M&E drawings and specifications.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to design requirements.
Coordination and Communication:
Coordinate with contractors and consultants to address construction-related matters and resolve any problems that arise during the construction period.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, including contractors, consultants, and internal departments.
Attend site meetings to provide updates on construction progress and address any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders.
Defect Management and Customer Service:
Attend to defects reported during the defect liability period and liaise with contractors, Sales & Marketing, and Customer Service Department to ensure timely rectification.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address customer queries and concerns related to construction quality or defects.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain meticulous project documentation, including detailed records of inspections, reports, and relevant correspondence.
Prepare accurate and comprehensive reports on project status, including progress, issues, and recommendations.
Assist in the preparation of project closeout documents, including as-built drawings and handover packages.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform any other job responsibilities assigned by the Management as and when required.
What do we need from you?
Professional Certificate / Diploma in Engineering (Architectural / Civil & Structural / Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Clerk of Work, Site Supervisor, or in a similar capacity.
Experience in property construction works is highly desirable.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
